The Cottage

Charis is a Greek word, rich in meanings including: splendor, inner grace, charm, gift, talent, beneficence, innate giftedness, courtesy and gratitude, but has also has come to mean joy and mercy. It is our root of the word charismatic.

Inside

Porch: Lots of space for mountain bikes, muddy boots or push chairs. Wood store. Washing machine/tumble dryer.

Kitchen: Views over the peaceful valley and woods. Fitted pine kitchen. Dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, food processor, liquidiser, microwave etc. Very well equipped with quality utensils.

Bathroom: Large, warm carpeted bathroom with high wooden beamed ceiling and white pine panelled bath, mirror, basin and toilet. Chest of drawers and comfy chair.

Dining room: Above right. Lovely views over garden and valley. Beamed ceilings. Antique oak dining table and six chairs. Persian rugs. Oak dresser. Stairs to bedrooms. Door to:

Living room: Small windows to front garden. Beamed Ceilings. Wood burning stove in granite stone fireplace (shown above left, wood supplied). Mini wide screen TV with DVD player. CD/radio. Three and two seater comfy sofas. Board games, cards and small library of books.

Double bedroom: Wooden floor with warm Persian rugs. High, wooden beamed ceiling. Restful views over the garden and farmland, window seat. Barley twist antique oak double bed (with new mattress). King sized duvet. Wardrobe, chest of drawers , brass lamps, chair and dressing table with mirror.

Twin bedroom: With sloping wooden beamed ceiling and velux window with delightful views over the valley. Wooden floor with warm Persian rugs. Twin beds (with new mattresses). Duvets. Wardrobe, open shelving and dressing table.

Cot and high chair available (please bring your own cot bedding).
