Take the Redruth exit off the A 30 and drive through the town (on the A393) then take the B3297 to Helston. Drive up the hill (about one mile) and take the road on the left marked Stithians, just past Wheel Buller Riding Stables. Drive along until you get to the hamlet of Penhalvean (about two miles). Drive into Penhalvean, past the phone box and a private road on a sharp right hand corner, and continue until you come to a lane on your left (about 200 yards) take this left and you are on our lane.
If you miss this turning you will know because there is a lane marked Stithians (about 200 yards) on the left with one on the right to Four Lanes, do not take these.
If you get to our local pub THE GOLDEN LION INN you have gone to far, turn round and drive back into Penhalvean and take the second right you come to (the one not marked Stithians).
Once in our lane drive on for half a mile or so, past the first set of houses, and Charis Cottage is on the left, pull in and you are there.
